A lot of the times when people import videos/images, they tend to expand or disregard the aspect ratio of the files manually. This sometimes distorts the files way too much, so this effect is an effective alternative to presenting your pictures or videos that may not be in a 16:9 format.

![Sony Vegas Pro 12: Text Animations [NEW FEATURE]
Please like/share/comment on the video if it helped you out!
The last new feature of Sony Vegas Pro 12 I will be going over. Text Animations are integrated into the Text Media Generators themselves. This eliminates the need of having to manually add any transitions or animated video fx to your text. In the Text Animation menu, you have a wide selection of different animations you can apply to your text. The duration of the animation will always depend on the duration of your text media. By default, your text media generator is set to 5 seconds, so when you apply an animation, some of the animations will last for 5 seconds as well.
The next few tutorials will be covering topics that both Vegas Pro 11/12 users can follow. (Transitions, Render Settings, Tips). Sony Vegas Pro 12: Text Animations [NEW FEATURE]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ddYqPsWM3rc/mqdefault.jpg)
