Hey guys! This is another Vegas Pro 11 tutorial, but today, I'm going to be showing you guys how to create an effect for all you montage editors. This effect is called the burst effect which involves two video fx in Vegas: Color Curves and Sphererize. Now this effect used 3-4 simple keyframes. However, it is meant to be applied to a video clip that is slow downed to about 30% of it's original speed in order to retain the same results as shown in my video.

This video covers the new plugin featured in Sony Vegas Pro 12 called the Layer Dimensionality plugin. You can use this plugin on videos and images and add more depth to them but were going to be primarily focusing on we can use it on text. Most of the settings in this plugin are pretty self-explanatory, and I tried explaining the Emboss section as simply as possible.
