In this video I go over a Sony Playstation PU-18 (PAL) Motherboard.
We'll look at the motherboard layout, What IC's are on the board and what they do.
We'll look at the fuses on the motherboard and what their protecting; I'll give you some tips on trouble shooting this PU-18 board.
We'll take a look at the different clocks using my scope and where to find them, always good for a reference.
Finally I'll let you know how to chip this board if you want to play backups and give you some tips on what chip to use and the best burning software.
