If we are to believe TheGamer's source, Sony is going to completely shut down PS Store accessibility on PS3, PSP, and PS Vita.
This report brings more questions than answers.
Is PS Store getting fully shut down without the ability to even redownload owned games or will purchasing new games be the only thing disabled?
If they will only disable the new purchases but allow redownloads of the owned games, it makes one wonder what is the point of even shutting down the PS Store if all the games remain on their servers.
If they are wiping everything from their servers, it's going to cause a huge problem for all the people who bought these games with their money because they will be losing access forever to something they paid for.
Not to mention, the games and especially DLC are in danger of becoming permanently lost which will have a devastating effect on video game preservation.
People who bought their games do not deserve to lose the ability to redownload and play something they paid for!
