In this review I compare Sony's FE 50-150 F2 GM fast-focusing wide-aperture zoom lens with both the Tamron/Samyang 35-150 lenses and also Sony's fast-focusing wide-aperture prime lenses. This lens should be of interest for photographers who photograph rapidly moving subjects but prefer to use apertures wider than F2.8. Designing a zoom lens with a constant F2 aperture has led to one or two compromises, but this lens gives little away to Sony's GM primes in terms of sharpness and Autofocus speed.
