I had the pleasure of testing out the Sony A7III for a model shoot today using the 120FPS Slow Motion and Mitakon 50mm 0.95 Lens. To hear my thoughts [click 'show more'] for more info!!
Had a fun afternoon shooting with my good friend Josh Ridgway today. He's a Brisbane photographer who was kind enough to let me borrow his new A7III for the afternoon. His favorite (and now mine too) lens the Mitakon 50mm F0.95 was a perfect pair to test out on a shoot such as this.
Only using the camera for a couple hours I have very good first impressions. I've always neglected Sony since selling the original A7S as I thought Canon and almost every other brand has better colour science (which is the most important thing to me). Luckily Josh had the EOSHD colour profile installed! With a quick bit of grading I'm very stoked with how the image turned out. The 50mm is soooo buttery and has amazing bokeh. The 120fps is very sharp and smooth. I'm very impressed.
