The brand-new 16 to 25 mm F2.8 G zoom Is the second lightweight release from Sony following their 24 to 50 mm f2.8 that they just dropped recently. Sony is trying to create a range of lenses that delivers the highest quality of image while minimising the amount of bag space it requires. The lens features and advanced optical technology that minimises aberration as well as an 11 blade circular aperture for smooth Bokeh.
The lens has a minimum focusing distance of 0.18 meters which allows you to take really detailed shots.
It also features two linear motors which help with the auto focus performance and it supports high-speed continuous shooting with AF/AE tracking
For those who consider using it for Video, the offers smooth focusing for high frame rate videos like 4k120p. it also offers linear response manual focus and in body stabilisation.
The lens is incredibly small and light and it’s approximate price is around 1200 USD or 1600 Canadian
