Sons of the Forest is the biggest game on Steam right now, and it’s easy to see why. This survival-horror-sim features everything you could want from a game in this genre. A beautiful, dense forest full of secrets. A tactile build system that gives you the freedom to construct bases of your own design. Cannibals. Whatever the hell this thing is. And - most importantly - my perfect son, Kelvin.
But like most survival games, Sons of the Forest isn’t exactly the easiest game to understand, especially if you’ve never played anything like this before. If you’re struggling to survive on this unforgiving island then don’t worry, we here at Rock Paper Shotgun have got your back.
