Here I present to you my dear student Sonika Malloth from Hyderabad. In this video, Sonika is reciting Urutu - Mohara - Korve in Tala Avadhana, i.e. Trishra Jathi Eka Tala, Khandachapu Tala, Mishra Jathi Eka Tala, Sankeernachapu Tala in right hand and Trishrachapu Tala, Khanda Jathi Eka Tala, Vilomachapu Tala, Sankeerna Jathi Eka Tala in left hand. Sonika is a Trinity Grade 8 Drummer and Computer Science Graduate from IIT Bombay. She worked with Starlight agency in Bombay performing at numerous events all over India and released an album with her own band Rock Metal Scissors. She is a regional winner of "Hit like a girl" International Drumming Competition in 2020. Currently she's pursuing her higher education in the interdisciplinary field of Computer Musicology.
