This game is meant for livesteamers. Provide this game with the Video ID of your YouTube Livestream page, and it will connect and read messages sent through your chat.

If you are not a livesteamer or do not plan to livestream this game and just want to experience the levels, please download the mobile versions of Sonic 1 & 2 instead. You will have a much more solid experience overall.

There is a limit of how many times data can be requested using YouTube's API each day. Every player on earth can only play this game a combined total of 138 hours a day. If you notice your chat isn't being read anymore, it is possible the quota has been reached for the day and you will have to wait 12 or more hours to play again.

If demand is high, I would be willing to pay for a larger limit for a few weeks.

Sonic Vs Chat Twitch edition has been released! The game connects to your twitch chat via IRC. Theoretically there should be no api limit, however I can't say for sure.

The main point of this game was the chat interaction, not remaking the classic stages 1-to-1. Just be glad I wasn't in charge of the Mobile Remakes.
