In this video I showcase Sonic 1 - The Next Level, a hack for the Sonic the Hedgehog game for Sega Mega Drive made by MarkeyJester. The hack is notable for much smoother animation of Sonic's sprites, including more corner frames, improved PCM sound quality, and slit scan (strip photo) effects for the boss.
