During the Open Network Test avaialble from August 29th - September 2nd, 2025, a new mode was made available for offline play: Grand Prix.

In this mode, you complete 4 separate races and have a randomly generated rival character with some unique dialogue between them.

In this video, we see Tails compete using Extreme Gear with Sonic as his rival.
