This was a very interesting stage for a Score Attack. When I first tried I could only get 274 rings - but the record was 276. There are a few branching paths throughout the stage that prevent you from getting every ring, but even if there was a glitch to access a different patth, it seemed like it would give you more than 2 rings. Additionally, the score record was 30700, which made no sense because with 276 rings, you should get either 31200 or 30200 depending on your time bonus being 2000 for sub 3, or 1000 if you didn't manage that - and the person with the 30700 only has a ring record of 269, which even with the 2000 time bonus would only result in 30500 points.

Anyway so it got to a point where I was confused enough to message Diamond, and they informed me that there are actually 2 rings above the top of stage that are not visible even on map dumps (at 0:33). So I went ahead and found those rings and thought that might be the end of it....

But just to sate my curiosity, I jumped and jumped and jumped at the top of the stage and wouldn't you know it, I found another 2 rings! (at 0:37) So I managed to beat a decade long thought maxed ring record too!

Before finding these rings I thought going for sub 3 was reasonable enough to aim for the Score Attack, so I had to keep that as my aim. But when adding going for the rings above the screen, getting the sub 3 became *very* tight. Needed a really good run to get this, but it's a super clean result now that it's done.

Still dunno what is up with the old score record, I'm gonna assume it's actually a typo. Doesn't matter anymore though.
