Sonic 3 & Knuckles playthrough. All seven chaos and super emeralds emeralds collected!
There appears to be a day 1 patch, I refused to download it. I will play through version 1.0.0 first before updating. Just so there is a record of version 1.0.0 out there.
The game is now in widescreen 16:9, sonic can now use his drop dash and Tails can fly to lift Sonic to higher places. Also they added some very nice animated cut scenes.

Notable differences between Sonic Origins and the original Sega Genesis / Megadrive version:
The music has changed in various places. The game is now using updated versions of the old prototype melodies in Carnival Night, Ice Cap and Launch Base Zones. Super and Hyper Sonic also has new music. The end credits music has also changes. I'm not a fan of these changes, the original music has a lot more depth and intricacies. The prototype melodies sound like they were composed in an afternoon for a college project. The game itself is great however. Here's hoping Sega addresses the fan outcry for better music.
