This cheat guide video shows you how to unlock Level Select, Debug and all Gold Medals for Sonic Mania and Sonic Mania Plus for Nintendo Switch. A text guide is as follows:
1. On the title screen before you press start, input the following: up, up, down, down, up, up, up, up. You should hear a ring noise.
2. Go to Mania Mode, highlight no save and press 'X' Turn debug mode to on.
3. With No Save still highlighted press 'Y' and '+' and hold them down until level select appears.
4. Input the following code for sound test: 1,9,7,9,0,8,1,1.
5. Now input 1,9,8,9,0,5,0,1.
6. Start a level to play debug mode on that level. Press start and exit to unlock everything.
7. Enjoy!
You should not need to buy the Encore DLC for any of these cheats. The 'Plus' update is free and contains a couple of things including a new way of entering cheat codes. Its main purpose is to support the Encore DLC which is paid content and includes 2 new characters and remixed levels. If your having trouble the method at the end of the video will get you Debug and Level Select.
Footage is taken from the PS4 version (as I have no easy way of capturing footage from my Switch), the only differences between versions is the control methods.
