I show off the locations of 4 fairly easy to reach special stage rings, in acts 1 and 2 of Green Hill Zone. Use these to get all the emeralds after beating the game! (Just reset the game after using all the rings, they'll become usable when you come back.)
The Act 1 ring is simple, just follow the typical path and you'll find it.
In Act 2, follow the path as high as you can, then as low as you can, then as high as you can, again.
If you mess up following the paths I take, there's usually a way back up, so try exploring a little. I show off some ways to get back up to the first Act 2 ring if you fell down.
The last ring is a bit tricky, you can try getting on top of the double loops here, but if you fall, there's an electric shield you can use nearby that I show off. Falling down here at any point usually prevents you from getting back up though, unless you have Tails to help.
If Tails is around, you can hold up and double jump to make him fly, so he can carry you up to hard to reach spots.
