This boss fight was almost literally perfect.
Something i never realized was the fact that the boss' various death animations would actually be relevant in a speedrun.
From what I've seen, Zazz has two death animations: 1) falling forwards, and 2) falling on his back.
I've determined that Zazz falling on his back on the second phase saves about 0.4s over him falling forward.
To make Zazz fall on his back, it seems that you have to homing attack from in-front of him.
In this run I was just barely enough in-front of Zazz for him to fall back after being hit on the second phase.
