Here's the final Zone of Eggman's original Eggmanland. It takes place in a medieval castle!
----------

4-1 (00:00 - 01:07)

A lot of traps and enemies in this level, including those that are out of your reach.
----

4-2 (01:08 - 04:35)

This is another level full of doorways, and yes, some of them are one-way trick doors that don't actually feed into each other.

This level was made to deliberately waste your time if you don't memorize these doors. Why?

Because this has the second of 2 secrets in the game after Labyrinth of the Sea 3's secret Bonus Stage.

If you can manage to complete this level with more than 2 minutes left on the clock, then as Sonic exits through the Goal Door, the game will suddenly scroll up to a grand clock.

If you got the criteria right, the clock will open and release some birds from its own doors. If you didn't fulfill the criteria, the clock will still be shown, but nothing else happens.
----

4-3 (04:36 - 07:33)

In this final regular level, you have CRAZY amount of doorways to use. Some of them are also one-ways that lead into different doorways than the one you just went through.

The Keys and the Goal are spread across this whole level. Good luck reaching them all in time!
----

4-4 & Good Ending (07:33 - 12:51)

The final battle! Right after one last slope roll.

Here, Dr. Eggman himself faces off against Sonic... as a Smiley Bomb that merely looks like him! Dodge his bombs, and then Spin Dash into him when he drops down. Even when his ride is turned into nothing but a head, keep attacking that head after it drops down following its laser attacks.

Beat Eggman to get the fourth Chaos Emerald for this game. Sonic then chases him away until he drops the fifth and last Chaos Emerald, which then gives Sonic back his original shoes, finally letting him run like the wind, again! He then uses his feet to make it out of Eggman's crazy maze!

If you got the Good Ending of this game by finding 3-3 & 4-2's secrets, you get a special code to put into the title screen. It just turns the Sound Test you can access into a Stage Select, allowing you to pick and replay any level in the game that you want.

Yup! That's it! That's all there was to the Good Ending!

Thanks for watching my playthrough of this bizarre Sonic game. Many call it one of his worst games, but even though I ended up not liking it much myself, I can't put it on the same notoriety of badness as what a game like Sonic 06 did to this series later.

A game like this isn't likely to happen, again. But oh well...
