It's finally finished! After 343 days of work, Malleo and I have finished our Team Sonic TAS. The TAS will be released on Friday, March 6th, 2020. You will be able to find the encodes on both Malleo's and my YouTube channels. In addition, we will be livestreaming the premiere of this TAS on Malleo's Twitch channel on Friday, March 6th, 2020 at 11pm GMT (6pm EST).

In this video, I show how to watch addresses while TASing in Dolphin, using its Debug Mode, and an example TAS using it.
Some parts of the video were speed-up to cut some time of the video.
(All those questions followed in the description are answered in the video, for better understanding)
-Why should I watch the address while TASing?
If youre aiming for the fastest time possible, watching the speed address is important to get it optimized, for example. Or else if you want to know whats your current score if the game doesnt let you see it, its possible with the addresses.
-Okay, so how do you see those addresses?
You have to open Dolphin in Debug Mode, doing the following steps:
1- Go in the folder of Dolphin and right click on Dolphin.exe (if the .exe file isnt called Dolphin, rename it)
2- Copy the file folder
3- Open a notepad and paste the file folders, followed by Dolphin.exe -d
So it should be something like this: C:(...)Dolphin-win-x64-v3...Dolphin.exe -d
PS: if there is space in one folder, put around it. Example: Dolphin win x64 v3.0-735-dirty
4- Save it as *.bat in any folder and open it.
5- Dolphin will open divided in 2 columns, the right one if the emulator and the left one with the addresses. In the left one, select the Memory tab. If theres no tab called Memory, go to view and select Memory. Here you can type the address you want to watch while TASing, just type it in the 1st box.
-How do I find those addresses?
Go to the area where you want to find the address and make sure that its value is 0. Open Cheats Manager (Tools - Cheat Manager), go to Cheat Search. Select 32 bit, 0x0, Equal, click on New Scan and on Next Scan. Now make the address to be higher than 0 (if youre aiming for the speed address, just walk a little bit), select Greater Than and click on Next Scan. Now keep doing it: make the address be higher than its previous value and choose Greater Than, or make the address be lower than its previous value and choose Less Than. After getting around 10 found addresses, test them all in the Memory part of Dolphin, and see which one makes more sense. This one will be the address youre searching for.
-Im TASing using an address but it doesnt update! What am I doing wrong???
Theres nothing wrong, unfortunately you have to click on the address everytime you want to update it...
-I went to another area and the address isnt working anymore...
Some addresses change each area, you have to find it again.
