Let me tell you something. Having the music go so well to each hit, especially 'let the fire BURN' just as Metal Sonic was kicked, was NOT EASILY TIMED WHEN YOU DON'T EDIT YOUR VIDEOS!
I have to say. This game is fun. I'm not lying. Okay, maybe half lying. I'm not having as much fun with the Modern Sonic parts, but I won't lie about them, they aren't as bad as the ones in Sonic Heroes Sonic 2006, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sonic and the Black Knight, Sonic Colors, and whatever Sonic games that I can't remember because the part of my brain that stored that information rotted away from such horrible info.
Also, Sonic CD was my least favorite original.
