Somebody in the comments of the OST video Sega posted said that this song sounded kinda like a Mega Man song and I thought "yeah maybe a little bit" so I made this remix.
Because I had to rely completely on my ear to do this, I had to take a few liberties / fudge stuff I couldn't figure out. Also I made it loop prematurely because it fades out in the video and instead of trying to figure out where the song goes after that I figured "screw it".
And of course, credit to Kevicus on Newgrounds for the Sonic Character Creator used for the thumbnail.

I recently played through Conkers Bad Fur Day for the first time. Its definitely a unique experience, one of the standouts being Robin Beanlands amazing soundtrack.

Theres a few different versions of this song but the DRMBM version is still my favorite for how hard it goes. Really adds some intensity to a game about stacking goo!

Daves theme from Maniac Mansion is probably one of my all-time favorite songs from a video game. The rhythm, the melody, the sick guitar solos! Its all just really good.
I did a cover of this song a couple years ago in the Mega Man X style, and it came out pretty good, but I always felt like I could have done better on the arrangement side of things. When I heard Master Mis remix of this song and how it used pitch bends during the main melody, it inspired me to return to this song and try to really hammer in all the things I love about this song.

Hey, look, my third Donkey Kong-related cover in a row!
I recently played through Diddy Kong Racing using just Pipsy. She has the lowest top speed in the game, making some of the boss races difficult (Bluey 2 was especially brutal), however her superior traction and handling were quite the boon for silver coin races. Very fun character overall.
