This is a full mix of the Metallic Madness track(s) from "Sonic CD", remixed by me. I wanted to make a full mix which emulated the transition from one act to another, much like in many tracks of the Sonic Next Gen OST, and no one had remixed these tracks in that manner yet.
Considering Sonic CD had two different soundtracks, the original Japanese one and the American one, I decided to make a full mix of both regions' soundtracks and put them BOTH into the same video.
The tracks go play the following order: Present, Bad Future, Past, Good Future. And yes, the Past track is exactly the same for both the JAP and the US soundtracks.
FINALLY! The last zone I had on my backlog, and this was trickiest. Both OSTs are drastically different, go for completely different flows, and took some improvisation to slip into and out of the past tune.
But 8 minutes apiece, I can confidently say I'm jazzed with the end results.
