In Pirate Storm mission 9 (Diehard Challenge) skipping straight to the rail after the first tower in the stage makes the goal not appear. Because the stage loops and the goal is slightly after the starting point, it's possible to run through the stage endlessly without ever reaching the goal as long as you manage to pull off the trick on each 'lap'.
This is not really useful when it comes to speedruns, and just makes the trick unusable when it comes to getting a faster time. But I still find it interesting so I thought I'd share it anyway.
