This stage starts out quite different than my outing with Tails. Having said that, it still wasn't that bad. Not really sure why it took me extra tries at both boss fights. Just bad luck I guess.

I actually beat this dang boss and then he kamikazed the platform I was on and I had to do it again. I think I went through 7 lives or so at the boss, but eventually took ole Egghead down.")
