READ ME: There is a great difference between the Tails and Sonic playthroughs. For Tails' run, I'll be taking very different routes, especially the areas that only Tails can reach with his flying capability and as for the Chaos Emeralds, once you have collected them all, there won't be any need to redo the Special Stages again as the 4 characters will be sharing the collected emeralds in this game.
Hello. This is a full game walkthrough of the GBA game, Sonic Advance, which serves as the very first Sonic game on a Nintendo console. It features 4 of the following playable characters, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and newcomer, Amy Rose. They seem to somehow represent a game difficulty. Sonic as Normal Mode, Tails and Knuckles as Easy Mode and Amy Rose as Hard Mode. For this walkthrough, I'll be using all 4 of them. The purpose of Sonic Advance is to beat the main game with all 4 of the Sonic characters while also collecting all 7 Chaos Emeralds to unlock the final extra level. I had each character take different level routes to fully explore every single zone. In Sonic's case, I took routes serving as easy pathways leading straight to Special Springs.
