I fixed my headphones!!
Anyway, decided to continue with the mellower tone that I established with the Mad Gear remix, mostly because I think the YM2612 is easier to control when doing softer, brassy tones, and I already have a liking towards that palette of timbres so it's more fun for me to work with the chip that way.
This remix started off with me making the drum loop with the M1 VST and then going from there. Lots of switching between different algorithms in Extended Ch. 3 mode here, with algorithms 4 and 7 being the most useful for me. Second half has a reference to Mining Melancholy.
