Ever noticed that the Angel Island Zone 2 music in Sonic 3 & Knuckles sounds similar to the Game Corner/Lucky Channel music in Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal?
Well, it is a "Lucky Channel Remix" because it is based off the Game Corner/Lucky Channel music.
This is not using a VSTi or a soundfont, instead this is actually a ROM hack.
If you want to hear the music yourself in a Pokémon Gold ROM, download the patch here:

Patch it into a clean "Pokémon Gold (U)" ROM using a tool like LunarIPS or SNESTool.
If you did this right, when you run it on a GameBoy emulator, it should play this in the title screen.
I used HxD for editing, VisualBoyAdvance for testing and recording, and WMM to compress it to a smaller size.

Im that guy who cant make tutorials :/
Thats part of the reason why this tutorial is long though,
the other reason is that Im using a Windows 7 virtual machine,
2.76 is likely the maximum version I can run without
graphics acceleration on VirtualBox. Thats also why
the footage is sped up, because trying to do anything is slow
as hell.
