Ok, this one was fun. As a ring attack, this stage is most infamously known as the one with a solitary ring inside the wall, that's collected near the start. And with Knuckles, for the neat and simple trick of getting the rings for Sonic & Tails' path.
But let's talk big combos. First exciting one starts at 1:10. The first enemy is actually the tricky part, getting the speed to just get it and avoiding touching the ground while moving to the left. But the fun part is at the end - the useful debut of the backwards glide!
Second big one starts at 2:50. This has a bit of setup prior (opening doors and such) to be able to continue gliding across to extend the combo. This combos isn't too hard tho, just gotta make sure to not hit the bouncy part of the spikers, as you can't glide out of it if you do.
Then there's a couple of medium ones at 4:40. The first one here is actually pretty interesting to map out to make sure the bubbles don't despawn. The second one is free.
After that it's basically all smaller combos, though I will note that the combo of 2 that starts at 6:07 is actually pretty damn tricky, as grabbing the small wall doesn't have a lot of margin for error.
Otherwise it's basically a mad dash for all the rings, because like basically every stage in S3K, there's time pressure to do everything in under 10 minutes. This was perfect for my route though, so very pleased with this!
This beats the previous record of 64600 by 16500 points.
