A new revision has been made, fixing Flight gravity in Metropolis Zone, including a fixed a Super Transformation bug during the Wing Fortress Zone cutscene, disabled Flight at the end of an Act and a Super Transformation message for Tails (albeit w/ Sonic's name).

I have made a new revision with a few bug fixes to Tails' Flight in Oil Ocean Zone and Mystic Cave Zone with an alternate version with the ORIGINAL RUN animation below.

Fixed a transparent pixel on the Hurt animation (yes a single pixel)

-DESCRIPTION

This was definitely a pain in the ass to release on time but, finally, here it is, released on Sonic's 30th Anniversary. Thank you guys for being patient with this ROM Hack as I've spent a lot of time refining it, adding tons of new features, fixing a bunch of bugs, in order for it to be the best it can be, now with new features such as Tails' Flight and Super Tails, as well as small changes such as the Turtloids from Sky Chase Zone and a subtract 10 feature in the Sound Test and Options Screen. All changes are below in the CHANGELOG. I've also included a download to the SPRITES for Sonic, Tails and the HUD used in the ROM Hack, make sure I am credited.

Sonic 2: The Alternate Sprites is a Sonic the Hedgehog 2 ROM Hack which revamps Sonic's, Super Sonic's and Tails' sprites, adds new mechanics and moves, fixes some mechanics and bugs, and other miscellaneous features, changes or improvements.
