The Sonic 2 version of Sonic Thrash is, yes, a ROM hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Mega Drive, created by DalekSam. It was later rebooted from scratch for Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which I covered as of recording this on 06/22/2022. And today, it's 07/20/2022, so it's been almost a month already.

My thoughts on this:
Great hack, but good lord, did it crash a LOT behind the scenes! I had to do several re-recordings just to make it through.

About five or six.
Note:
Yes, I had to use the debug mode in this, because there are a few zones shown that are essentially empty, such as Secret Base Zone and Big Blue Zone. Excuse the split at 26:57, I had to combine these two videos into one video in ShotCut, since it's better than uploading two videos of the same hack to YouTube.
This took forever to upload due to the file size! The two videos alone were only 2 gigs, but when edited, it became a 30 gig file after exporting this. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?! XD
