Sonic 2 Alternate is a hypothetical soundtrack for if I made Sonic 2's music. I love Leila Wilson's fanmade one, so I did one as well.

0:04. This is probably familiar to some avid listeners. It may ring in your head that it's been used in a lot of places in this soundtrack. I've used it in many other alternate songs, and ive made sure to include it exclusively in the staff roll to tie all the zones back together. Such as:
ARZ - 0:59

MCZ - 0:57
MPZ - 1:28
WFZ - 0:57
DEZ - 1:12

I've been using this melody (and a few others) in many of the songs I make, as it's pretty much been with me since I started doing music. In a way, this makes it so the staff roll isn't just a send-off to S2A, but also a celebration of how far I've come in music making.
Aside from this and the obvious references in the song (main theme[title screen], emerald hill 2p), this song is based off of Sonic 3D Blast's credits song.
