Merry Christmas and happy new year, everyone! This'll be my last video until January 2024 as I'll be taking a break from uploading (or lack thereof) and that being said, let's get down to the gritty. What the McFuck Burger is this monstrosity of a ROM hack that Michael Bay gave birth to?!
Well, Brutal Sonic is a difficult (and violent) hack that manages to not be total bullshit! It may look like a vanilla Sonic 1 ROM from a first glance, but no, you're mortally wrong. It's not a normal hack one would submit for 2023's SHC contest. Likewise, it's a ROM hack made by Team Brutality.
Artwork and voice line at the end of the video is made by Fuzzy.

P.S.: Sorry for the terrible frame rate at some points in the video. OBS was NOT happy with me after updating my graphics driver and OBS itself the other day. Sorry about that. Yes, I did go through five test recordings that had the frames being nonexistent and so, by the sixth failed recording, I lowered my recording bitrate down to 6000kbps that somehow worked.
