Berklee NYC is a thriving community of forward-thinking creative professionals. The Master of Arts in Creative Media and Technology program is designed for those who are ready to supercharge their skill set and the next phase of their career by learning from industry leaders and Berklee’s renowned faculty in the entertainment capital of the world. Inspired by the artistic possibilities of technology, Berklee NYC is a unique and collaborative environment where students can explore their artistry, expand their knowledge of the best business practices, and master the technical skills.
Located in Hell’s Kitchen, Power Station at Berklee NYC is a transformed state-of-the-art recording and video production facility for the music, theater, television, and film industries, just down the street from Broadway theaters, Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Performing Arts Library.
Building on a unified core curriculum, Berklee NYC’s three M.A. specializations are designed for students to collaborate across disciplines, giving our students an opportunity to share their expertise on creative projects and events. In the classroom, students from all specializations regularly critique each other’s work, providing feedback and creative guidance. Hands-on collaborations include live performances on campus and beyond.

The songwriting and production specialization explores the artistic possibilities of technology aided songwriting and recording, taking an integrated, collaborative approach to the creation of popular music. Our program will prepare you to enter the industry with a clear sense of your voice and the skills you need to write, produce, collaborate, and perform at the highest level.
This program will:
Develop your artistic voice through constant performance opportunities
Assemble a team of talented collaborators, creating in the same building that generated hundreds of hit records
