"Something about those eyes" is one of my songs about alcoholism. It's a song about knowing an alcoholic parent is drinking again but trying to hide their alcohol addiction from you. It's about alcoholics manipulating you to the point you're starting to doubt yourself.

The lyrics "something about those eyes" refer to the fact that no matter how well they lie and try to hide it, you know it by just one look in their eyes.
