So I Finally Played... is a series I created at the start of this year to give myself an outlet to play games from my backlog the gamers worst enemy. Song of the Deep is a 2D metroidvania developed by Insomniac Games and was one of those games I was incredibly excited for before launch and yet, somehow lost track of. Now though, 4 years later and a new appreciation for the metroidvania genre here we are! So, now that I've finally played Song of the Deep... what did I think?
