Prompt: Compose a piece (major or minor) where the melody never touches the tonic.

I wanted to use this prompt to practice formal structures and ended up choosing a sonata. The melodic voice(s) avoid the current tonic as the piece progresses (from G minor to Bb major, back to G minor), while the other instruments are free to explore!
