In today’s episode, I look back at a scandal that made headlines in the early 00’s.

Russel Hirner was the principal of a school affiliated with Longview Baptist Temple (now named Emmanuel Baptist Church) in Longview, Texas. He is currently serving time in prison for sexual abuse of minors.

His son, Joshua, sat down with me to talk about the environment at Longview, his dad’s double life, and the facts he slowly pieced together while his dad was behind bars.
