I took a quiet walk today and watched the trees all burning in color, swaying in the breeze—humble and unafraid.
There was something peaceful in the way they trusted the wind,
and willingly let their beautiful leaves release and softly float away.

I think I’m finally learning to do the same—to let life change me,
to stop holding on so tightly,
and to stand still on this earth—humbled, open, and bare—
like a tree that’s lost its leaves.
I want to walk open-hearted into every season, with nothing left to hide.

I heard this song as I walked—one I’ve always loved.
It’s always felt like coming home and saying goodbye at the same time.
It sounds like a secret you tell yourself,
like looking back on a life long and beautifully painful, yet still wanting more.

Here I stand, accepting all of it—
wanting to hold on to the truth of what leads us to that place only those who’ve shared the same secret can go…
somewhere only we know.
