A Hot Button Issue: Fudging Rolls. Should Dungeon Masters massage the information behind the screen in order to tell a compelling narrative? Or should the dice be the ultimate arbiters for what happens at the table? Like many things, my stance is: it depends. I go into two instances where fudging rolls is never okay and two times when I think it is acceptable. But then I also offer some alternatives to fudging that I think are better ways to go.
