"Just because you don't know your direction, doesn't mean you don't have one."

Returning with my usual brand of tortured characters. The doom and gloom is in overdrive, but I'm playing with the idea that at the same time you're in a crisis, you're also in self-reflection mode and potential breakthroughs – like it's necessary to suffer and triumph in succession.

"There are two kinds of sufferers in this world: those who suffer from a lack of life and those who suffer from an overabundance of life."

As sombre as it is, I had a lot of fun with this edit and have been sitting on it for a while. What better time to release it than in this 2020 madness?

I live for the introspection and parallelisms from scene to scene, moment to moment, capped off with the first and last shots. Broken down into essentially three parts or stages, in tandem with the music/suite.

"He was ashamed of his boasting... his pretensions of courage and ruthlessness... his inability to express what he now believed was the case."

As chaotic as the world is right now, I'm in a really good patch of my life and nothing like this video could let on 😁 Only by being so content in my life was I able to step back and make this, perhaps as catharsis to what I've seen in myself and in others...
