summary ≣
during the last days before smaug's attack, thorin is introduced to a young woman to whom he is to be married. the instant attraction between them frightens her away, and when erebor is claimed by the dragon, thorin is sure he shall never see her again.

many years later, their paths cross once more, and in the wake of thorin's plans to reclaim his lost home, they find together.

however, there is no time for time left, and when thorin leaves on his quest, she stays behind, left only with dreams of a future together. dreams that will never come true.

this is how I spent one of the few saturdays I don't have to work. the quality turned out quite bad, and I made up the story as I went along, so forgive me for that since it's quite lame. but au vids are always fun to make, so it wasn't a day wasted.
