Does Orthodoxy teach conciliar/patristic fundamentalism (i.e. the idea that every writing of a saint and statement during a council is inerrant)? This video details what the scholars say, why the recognize but reject the idea, and modern intra-Orthodox/Catholic debates on the subject. In short, the saints tend to harmonize and justify other saints whenever possible, other than making some sort of polemical point. Oftentimes, saints will "cover the nakedness of the fathers."
