Some of my favourite books that help with my ADHD!
"Set Boundaries Find Peace" (a guide to reclaiming yourself) by Nedra Glover Tawwab -- Simple guide to setting boundaries with clear examples of HOW
"Bird by Bird" (some instructions on writing and life) by Anne Lamott -- this book taught me how to write. It's hilarious!
"Getting Ahead of ADHD" (What next-generation science says about treatments that work -- and how you can make them work for your child) by Joel T. Nigg, PhD -- up-to-date info on what affects ADHD, written for parents by a brilliant researcher
"The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck" (a counterintuitive approach to living a good life) by Mark Manson -- a surprisingly insightful, funny guide to handling adversity f*ck positivity!
"The Skeptics Guide to the Universe" (how to know what's really real in a world increasingly full of fake) by Dr. Steven Novella -- taught me how often we humans get things wrong, why, and what to do about it
"Why Will No One Play With Me?" (The play better plan to help children of all ages make friends and thrive) -- (I find a lot it helpful now) a book I wish my parents had read - how to help your kid make friends.
Video ends with Jessica putting her hand in frame of the camera and giving us a thumbs up!
