( Boring but important - the bees in this hive are much more vicious than H2G - "FIRST" it's probably partly H1G has many more bees and young baby bees of are probably half its population at least! )
One of the most odd problems that has developed over the past 2 1/2 months i have had these bees is of late H1G is not quiet and is extremely disturbed when the camera is brought near the hive.
One day i was filming around the time of their being queenless handheld with this camera and they suddenly poured out attacking the camera!
They have never quite been friendly with a camera near it since.
The only other time was the camera sitting on a rock beside the hive filming them for 5 minutes at the entrance but it does not appear to be too severe until the brood bax was opened arounf the timne they became queenless 3 weeks back.

Like i wrote before, the turbine and charger behave similar to a car alternator and it voltage regulator through the magnet spindle to produce charge.
voltage builds as much as possible and may have some type of regulator feed to assist the magnetic rotor spindle to induce in the stator windings. When voltage is above battery level and rotation is constant, the amperage fed back is high, if it is only recent at the required voltage then current fed back is minimal.
Wind has been blowing less pulsing and less gusting, although it effectively never reached more than 4 m/s in the 5 days i had the turbine in place.")
