Working on this instrument challenged me in so many ways to reconsider my definition of what a musical instrument isâor what it could be.
It sparked initial explorations that turned into multi-year long deep dives into topics like interaction, gesture, & building instruments / patches that act like duo partners and create with us (current and part students in Learning Sound & Synthesis, you know what Iâm talking about here đ )
This clip is from the prototype version of MIGSI built years ago, but Iâm excited to be working on a new revamped version this/next year - with some big plans for composing new music as well! â¤ď¸
