solving a fractional differential equation. I solve an equation with half derivatives, by using techniques from calculus like differentiation. The process is clever yet elementary, and suitable for high school and college students. The solution involves gamma function and factorials and gaussian functions, even has a nice trick at the end with polynomials and exponents. There even is square root of pi involved. Applications include quantum mechanics and broken viscous physical processes
