A few points that I mentioned in the first video and want to add to:
Size: The side-by-side comparison puts this at the same size as the LM, but when I switch from the GAN to the LM, the LM feels bigger in my hands. I still think the side-by-side has them at the same size, but if you buy this puzzle, expect it to feel smaller than an LM
GES Nuts: These have a slightly different size and have an "inverted color scheme" where the springy part is colored instead of the nut base, so unfortunately these cannot be interchanged with the 3x3 nuts.
Overall, I think that the lighter and smoother turning gives this puzzle the potential to be better than my LM, but I have not been able to reach this in the past week. Winter in Australia makes it harder to get warm hands, but so far I haven't been able to get a consistent, comfortable feeling puzzle. The potential isn't completely unfounded as I have gotten sub33/low33 averages of 5 and a sub30 single, but I will have to spend more time to figure out what the issue is.
The dimples aren't too bad as I can get my usual fingertricks off after getting used to the puzzle, but I still would prefer a regular convex puzzle with or without corner ridges. This puzzle also seems to need more lube than others, which may be due to the increased surface area of honeycomb internals.
For now I will stick to the LM as my main, I but may try to figure out the tensions on the GAN in spare time.
