Snowshoe Hiking in the Triebener Tauern in the Austrian Alps with my Tubbs Mountaineer! The tour went to the Kerschkern mountain.This is my second snowshoe hiking tour this year. I think the tubes Mountaineer are the best snowshoes for winter hikes.

Der Kerschkern wird meist aus dem Triebental bestiegen, aber auch auf dem Lisingstal gibt es mehrere mögliche Anstiege - allen ist aber der deutlich höhere Schwierigkeitsgrad der Route gemeinsam. Der Triebener Tauern ist ein Gebirgspass über die Niederen Tauern in Hohentauern der Steiermark. Er liegt an der Scheide zwischen Seckauer und Rottenmanner Tauern und verbindet über die Triebener Straße (B114) das Murtal bei Judenburg (Aichfeld) mit dem Paltental bei Trieben und dem Ennstal. Der Kirschkern ist folgend umgeben von zahlreichen Bergen: schrimpfkogel, Geierhaupt, Goldkogel, Hahnenkamm, Kettentalkogel, Zwölferköpfl

Tubbs Mountaineer:
Easily access the backcountry with the Mountaineer, our classic tubular frame snowshoe for go anywhere, do anything versatility. Aggressive traction is provided on two fronts by the eight teeth of the Anaconda™ toe crampon backed up by enhanced downhill braking from the Python™ heel crampon.
