Same strat as you use with the Storm's Edge tech, however to get around the FPS cap needed you use the xbox console companion app on a device connected to a network. Remote play (stream) your Xbox to it (make sure the setting for that in remote features is enabled from the Xbox) and when you want to manually cap frames click the three dots on the top left for options.
This option menu caps your games frames on your Xbox.
