Boss is pretty easy, to the point where I'm debating if Moose/Goose is harder lol. Phase 1 is it hitting it's Tail Fin at you while spawning some waves at you. Easily countered by an anchor.
Phase 2 starts at 66% HP left and is the divebomb phase, where it divebombs it's way out of your range and spams waves at you. This part was the biggest issue for this fight since getting to it was a pain with it spamming waves at you.
Tried alot of methods, but it turns out that Boomerang seems to be the best, non-character specific method. It has a bigger range than staves so you don't need to struggle getting close to it when it's spamming its waves and dirt cheap to make.
Phase 3 starts at 33% HP and it will start swooping (aka the Ariel Ace). It sill destory masts (amd catapults), hence why this fight is an oar based fight.
As for it's loot, the sail is actually pretty good since it's so fast. Raising the sail uses the heave-ho mechanic, and lowering it is an insta-lower. This is the opposite of the sail where you need to heav-ho it to lower it. I see myself using it once they add more stuff to the ocean, though boat bridges might overtake it late-game.
The beak though needs to be better. It's just an oar with 600 durability, but the wood oar has 500 durability. It does make you travel farther than the wood oar and loses less durability when you make a mistake, but at the end of the day, it's just an oar :/
I'd like to see the beak be used as a cool weapon that's unique, fun, and good to use and amass (unlike Knapsacks).
That way I'd be excited and go out of my way to farm this boss. Otherwise, no issues with the boss in terms of how it fights.
